I really like traveling on Ultramar better than the other ferries since you can buy your tickets online and they just scan the QR code and you go very quickly.
Also on the route to Cozumel the boats are larger than those in Cancun.

I live in Cozumel, and I always use the overseas ferry to cross to Playa del Carmen, their boats are incredible, plus they have promotions for local people.
Since I travel at least twice a week, I go inside, because if it rains or the sun is super strong, nothing happens inside.

I like the Ultramar ferry more than the Winjet one, they are more stalwart and their boats are better equipped.
