It is a spectacular place, it is made to exalt the culture and the environment of the ocean, inaugurated in 2009, creating an artificial reef with 450 sculptures 30 feet deep, you can snorkel or dive in the area.
You can only get there by boat, so I recommend that you take a tour, it is approximately 25 minutes away by boat.

The Musa museum underwater with friends
Snorkeling is something that I really like to do, I usually go when friends and family come to visit, 2 months ago I went with some friends from the CDMX high school and we had a lot of fun, we went to Isla Mujeres like every time they come and we did this adventure to go to the muse museum since I didn't know about it either, it is undoubtedly something super different from what you can find anywhere. You can both dive and snorkel but the truth is I don't dare to dive that's why I prefer to snorkel but I'll leave it to you as a fact, if you dive you see the sculptures closer but if you snorkel you will see it from above which also looks very good and I prefer the truth, my code is sofiala in case you want to use it
The area that you cannot miss if you like snorkeling is undoubtedly MUSA, there are many ways to get to this underwater museum, you can arrive by private boat or on a tour that you take either in Isla Mujeres or Cancun. I recommend that you take the tour as early as possible so that there are not so many people on the boat if it is a tour and also because the sun looks beautiful with the turquoise sea. Another recommendation that I leave you is to bring a chocolate for after snorkeling because you usually end up all salty in your mouth and biting something sweet is the best, I leave you my blumy code in case you need it "gabyros"

What you see underwater is impressive and there is no other place like it in the world, an underwater museum where you see magnificent sculptures that change them, so you can go as many times as you want and it will always be phenomenal to see what there is below!
I saw turtles, rays and starfish! It's beautiful
The lower water museum is in the south of the island and the sea has beautiful colors. In my personal taste, I like the south end more than the north end! It is the law to go to MUSA when you visit Isla Mujeres!

La zona que no puedes perderte si te gusta snorkelear sin duda es la de MUSA, hay muchas maneras de poder llegar a este museo submarino, puedes llegar por barco privado o en algun tour que agarres ya sea en Isla Mujeres o en Cancún. Les recomiendo agarrar el tour lo mas temprano posible para que no haya tanta gente en el barco que agarren si es por tour y también por que el sol se ve precioso con el mar turquesa. Otra recomendación que les dejo es que lleven un chocolate para despues del snorkel por que comúnmente terminas todo salado de la boca y morder algo dulce es lo mejor, les dejo mi código blumy por si lo necesitan ” gabyros “
